Ingredients
- 6 hotdogs
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 sheet puff pastry or 6 hotdog buns
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips or prepare the buns.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese around each hotdog.
- Wrap each hotdog with the pastry or place inside buns.
- Arrange them in a baking dish.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and egg wash.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and sesame seeds on top.
- Add shredded mozzarella over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
