Ingredients

  • 6 hotdogs
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry or 6 hotdog buns
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips or prepare the buns.
  3. Place a slice of cheddar cheese around each hotdog.
  4. Wrap each hotdog with the pastry or place inside buns.
  5. Arrange them in a baking dish.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter and egg wash.
  7. Sprinkle garlic powder and sesame seeds on top.
  8. Add shredded mozzarella over the top.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
