Description
Burgers with Extra Melted Cheese are juicy beef patties grilled or pan-seared and topped with generous layers of perfectly melted cheese for an indulgent, classic burger experience.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 burger buns
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (for buns)
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, gently mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- Place 2 slices of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Butter the buns and toast lightly on the grill or skillet.
- Assemble burgers with patties and optional toppings.
- Serve immediately while cheese is extra melted.
