Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or peanuts
  • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels (optional)
  • Sea salt flakes, for garnish

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange apple slices in a single layer on the parchment paper.
  3. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.
  4. Spread melted chocolate evenly over apple slices.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the chocolate layer.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, pretzels, and sea salt.
  7. Refrigerate for 30–40 minutes, until chocolate is set.
  8. Break into pieces and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Best enjoyed the same day to keep apples from browning.
  • For extra sweetness, drizzle with white chocolate.
  • Try adding crushed cookies or toffee bits for more crunch.
