Ingredients
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (24 oz) marinara or tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and sauté until softened.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- Stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
