Description

Rich and creamy linguine tossed with tender Cajun-spiced steak in a spicy garlic butter cream sauce, finished with melted cheese for a bold and comforting pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss steak slices with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in red pepper flakes and smoked paprika, then pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and sauce is smooth.
  7. Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
  8. Add cooked linguine and gently mix until fully combined and creamy.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes to control spice level.
  • Ribeye can be used for a richer flavor.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
