Description
Rich and creamy linguine tossed with tender Cajun-spiced steak in a spicy garlic butter cream sauce, finished with melted cheese for a bold and comforting pasta dish.
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss steak slices with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in red pepper flakes and smoked paprika, then pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
- Add cooked linguine and gently mix until fully combined and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes to control spice level.
- Ribeye can be used for a richer flavor.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
