A hearty and flavorful one-pan meal featuring tender potatoes, smoky sausage, melted cheese, and ranch seasoning for a comforting family dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 lbs russet potatoes, diced into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread potatoes evenly on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and golden.
- Add smoked sausage slices to the baking sheet and bake for another 10-12 minutes until sausage is heated through and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the potatoes and sausage. Bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.

- Use baby red or Yukon gold potatoes for a creamier texture.
