Ingredients
- 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups beef broth or water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the rice using beef broth or water according to package instructions. Set aside.
- Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Return the steak to the pan and mix to coat in the cheese sauce.
- Serve the cheesy steak over the cooked rice.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
