Description

Cheesy Tortellini Pasta Bake is a comforting oven-baked dish made with tender cheese-filled tortellini, rich marinara sauce, and layers of melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 500 g cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add marinara sauce, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked tortellini with the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add cooked chicken or vegetables for variation.
  • Cover with foil if the cheese browns too quickly.
