Ingredients
- 4 cups (about 2–3 cooked chicken breasts) cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and half of the crumbled bacon to the mixture. Stir to combine.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top of the chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until tater tots are golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon, then bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
