Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter (for noodles)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C). Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same pot or skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Toss in the cooked noodles and Parmesan cheese until evenly coated in the butter-garlic mixture.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve over the buttered noodles. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
