Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate pudding (prepared)
- 1 chocolate sponge cake or brownies, cut into cubes (about 300 g)
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (optional, for dusting)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional, to sweeten whipped cream)
Instructions
- If using homemade whipped cream, beat cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a trifle bowl or glass dish, add a layer of cake cubes at the bottom.
- Spoon a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake.
- Add a layer of whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for best texture.

- You can add sliced bananas or strawberries between layers.
