Description

A rich and creamy twist on classic lasagna — this Crack Chicken Lasagna is loaded with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, a luscious ranch-flavored cream sauce, and layers of gooey cheese. Comfort food doesn’t get better than this!

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups (420g) cooked shredded chicken
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups (475ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
  • 1 (8 oz / 225g) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 oz / 28g) ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups (150g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add cream, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir until cream cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. Whisk in ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in shredded chicken and half of the crumbled bacon. Mix well to coat evenly.
  7. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer 3 noodles, followed by a third of the chicken mixture, mozzarella, and cheddar.
  8. Repeat layers twice more, finishing with sauce and remaining cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with remaining bacon and chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
  • Substitute ranch mix with homemade ranch seasoning for a lower-sodium option.
  • Can be made ahead — refrigerate and bake before serving.
  • Pairs beautifully with garlic bread and a crisp green salad.
