Description

Creamy Cajun Garlic Chicken Spaghetti is a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender, seasoned chicken tossed with spaghetti in a velvety mozzarella Parmesan cream sauce infused with bold Cajun spices and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season sliced chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if using.
  8. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and mix to coat in the sauce.
  9. Add cooked spaghetti and toss until fully coated with the creamy sauce.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning based on preferred spice level.
  • For extra creaminess, add an additional 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce option.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
