Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 400 g boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

  2. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  7. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
