Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 600 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.

- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and dried thyme. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 3–5 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
