Description
Tender and flavorful steak bites slow-cooked in a savory garlic butter sauce until perfectly juicy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the beef sirloin into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with paper towels.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak cubes for 1–2 minutes until lightly browned on the outside.
- Transfer the steak bites to the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, thyme, and parsley.
- Pour the mixture over the steak bites in the crockpot.
- Add the beef broth and gently stir to coat the meat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until the steak bites are tender.
- Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Sirloin works well, but chuck steak can be used for extra tenderness.
- For added flavor, include sliced mushrooms or onions.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or alongside roasted vegetables.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
