Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix pumpkin puree with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the pumpkin mixture over the batter, then top with the remaining brownie batter. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
