Description

Soft, golden pizza pockets filled with gooey cheese and savory pizza toppings, perfect for a quick homemade snack or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or other toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, or sausage)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 6-8 equal squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square, followed by cheese and desired toppings.
  4. Fold dough over to form a triangle or rectangle pocket, pressing edges with a fork to seal.
  5. Place pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
