Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or other toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, or sausage)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 6-8 equal squares.
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square, followed by cheese and desired toppings.
- Fold dough over to form a triangle or rectangle pocket, pressing edges with a fork to seal.
- Place pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
