Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 700 g)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and parsley.
  4. Arrange pork chops in the baking dish and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and continue baking for 10–15 minutes until pork is cooked through and lightly golden.
  7. Baste pork chops once more with pan juices.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
