Description
Savory rollups made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and soft dough, brushed with rich garlic butter and baked until golden for an irresistible cheeseburger-inspired appetizer or meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove from heat.
- Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.
- Spoon beef mixture onto each piece of dough and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Roll up tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic.
- Brush garlic butter generously over the rollups.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve with ketchup or burger sauce for dipping.
- You can add cooked bacon or pickles for extra flavor.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
