Description

Savory rollups made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and soft dough, brushed with rich garlic butter and baked until golden for an irresistible cheeseburger-inspired appetizer or meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.
  5. Spoon beef mixture onto each piece of dough and top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic.
  8. Brush garlic butter generously over the rollups.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  10. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with ketchup or burger sauce for dipping.
  • You can add cooked bacon or pickles for extra flavor.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
