Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Shrimp with Baby Potatoes & Green Beans is a hearty skillet meal featuring tender seared steak, juicy shrimp, crispy baby potatoes, and fresh green beans tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 400 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 300 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 300 g baby potatoes, halved
- 200 g green beans, trimmed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Boil the baby potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until just tender, then drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the potatoes cut side down and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Season with salt, paprika, and black pepper. Remove and set aside.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Return the steak bites and potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together with the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle thyme, chili flakes, parsley, and lemon juice over the dish and mix gently.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- Use a hot skillet to get a good sear on the steak bites.
- Do not overcook the shrimp; they cook very quickly.
- Baby potatoes can be roasted instead of boiled for extra crispiness.
- This dish pairs well with rice or crusty bread.
