Description
Soft and fluffy breadsticks brushed with garlic butter, topped with melted cheese, and baked until golden brown for the ultimate cheesy side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Brush garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and breadsticks are golden brown.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley, and let cool slightly before slicing into sticks.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- Use a blend of cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or gouda for variety.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for 5–7 minutes before serving.
