Description

Garlic Cheese Bread is a crispy, buttery bread topped with garlic, herbs, and melted cheese, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette or Italian bread loaf (12 inches)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking tray.
  3. In a bowl, mix butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Add oregano and chopped parsley.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Use garlic powder if fresh garlic is unavailable.
