Description
A hearty oven-baked comfort dish featuring garlic Parmesan chicken and steak served over creamy, cheesy loaded mashed potatoes, all baked together for a rich and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain well.
- Mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese and season lightly with salt. Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, toss chicken and steak with olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange seasoned chicken and steak evenly over the mashed potatoes.
- Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until meat is cooked through and cheese is golden.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Cut chicken and steak into similar-sized pieces for even cooking.
- You can add steamed broccoli or green beans for a complete meal.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving for best texture.
