Description

A hearty oven-baked comfort dish featuring garlic Parmesan chicken and steak served over creamy, cheesy loaded mashed potatoes, all baked together for a rich and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish.
  2. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain well.
  3. Mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese and season lightly with salt. Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, toss chicken and steak with olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Arrange seasoned chicken and steak evenly over the mashed potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until meat is cooked through and cheese is golden.
  9. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve hot.

  • Cut chicken and steak into similar-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • You can add steamed broccoli or green beans for a complete meal.
