Ingredients
- 2 lean sirloin steaks (200–250g each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season steaks with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried herbs on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steaks and cook for 3–5 minutes per side depending on desired doneness.
- Add butter and garlic in the last minute, spooning over the steaks for extra flavor.
- Remove steaks and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Steam or sauté broccoli for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Warm the cooked quinoa and mix with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
- Slice steak if desired and serve over quinoa with broccoli on the side.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
