Ingredients
- 2 sirloin or ribeye steaks (about 200–250g each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1 cup baby potatoes, halved
- 1 cup green beans or any quick vegetable
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Season the steaks with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried herbs on both sides.
- Add the steaks to the hot pan and cook for 3–5 minutes per side depending on desired doneness.
- In the last 2 minutes, add butter and garlic, then spoon the melted butter over the steaks.
- Remove steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same pan, add halved potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and tender.
- Add green beans and cook for another 5 minutes until tender.
- Serve the steak with potatoes and vegetables, drizzling any leftover butter from the pan on top.
