Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200g linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add lemon juice and zest, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.
  7. Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce until well coated.
  8. Slice the chicken and place it over the creamy linguine.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired. Serve warm.
