Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 200g linguine pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce until well coated.
- Slice the chicken and place it over the creamy linguine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired. Serve warm.
