Description

Juicy shrimp sautéed in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect as a quick entrée or served over pasta, rice, or vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter to the skillet along with the minced garlic; sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp or they will become rubbery.
  • Add a splash of white wine for extra depth.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
