Description

A sweet and savory maple chicken dish featuring tender chicken glazed in a rich maple syrup sauce with warm spices, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  6. Simmer sauce for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Cook an additional 2 minutes, glazing the chicken well.
  9. Serve hot with extra sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

  • Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
  • Pairs well with roasted vegetables or rice.
  • Can also be baked at 375°F for 25 minutes.
