Description

A rich and indulgent no-bake dessert featuring a chocolate cookie crust and a creamy German chocolate–style filling with coconut and pecans.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate pudding mix (instant)
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a pie dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  5. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  6. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently fold whipped cream into the filling mixture.
  8. Stir in shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
  9. Spread the filling evenly into the prepared crust.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before serving.
