Description
A rich and creamy garlic pasta made in just one pot, perfect for a quick and comforting dinner with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta and stir to separate. Cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Simmer for another 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for extra protein and flavor.
- Adjust sauce thickness by adding more broth or cream as needed.
- Best served immediately while creamy and hot.
