Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place 4 slices of bread butter-side down on a flat surface.
  4. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the bread slices.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, oregano, and garlic powder.
  6. Cover with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
