Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 450 g smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned on both sides.
  3. Add onion and bell peppers, stirring well.
  4. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are softened.
  5. Add garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt, then stir and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat once everything is well combined and fragrant.
  7. Serve hot over cooked rice and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use spicy sausage for extra heat.
  • Brown rice or jasmine rice works well as a substitute.
  • Add a splash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce for deeper flavor.
