Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 450 g smoked sausage (sliced)
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook until browned on both sides.
- Add onion and bell peppers, stirring well.
- Sauté for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are softened.
- Add garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt, then stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat once everything is well combined and fragrant.
- Serve hot over cooked rice and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use spicy sausage for extra heat.
- Brown rice or jasmine rice works well as a substitute.
- Add a splash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce for deeper flavor.
