Ingredients
- 300 g spaghetti
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 hard taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or basil (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Fill each taco shell with the spaghetti mixture and top with shredded cheese.
- Garnish with parsley or basil and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef if preferred.
- Serve immediately to keep the taco shells crunchy.
