Description

A flavorful twist on classic spaghetti and meatballs, featuring juicy turkey meatballs with a spicy kick served over tender pasta in a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • Extra Parmesan cheese and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 18–20 minutes, until cooked through and golden.
  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cooked meatballs and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve meatballs and sauce over spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing red pepper flakes.
  • For extra flavor, sear meatballs in a skillet before baking.
