Description

A classic, protein-packed breakfast featuring juicy steak, perfectly cooked eggs, and creamy avocado for a satisfying and hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (6 oz each)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika


Instructions

  1. Remove steaks from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking.
  2. Season both sides of the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear steaks for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
  5. Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Crack eggs into the skillet and cook to desired doneness.
  8. Slice the steak and serve with eggs and avocado slices.

Notes

  • Letting the steak rest keeps it juicy.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet for best sear.
