Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (6 oz each)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Remove steaks from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking.
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steaks for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Crack eggs into the skillet and cook to desired doneness.
- Slice the steak and serve with eggs and avocado slices.

- Letting the steak rest keeps it juicy.
- Use a cast-iron skillet for best sear.
