A hearty and protein-packed breakfast featuring juicy pan-seared steak paired with perfectly cooked eggs for a classic morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 8 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
  • Hot sauce or steak sauce (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  1. Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet, cover, and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining oil or butter. Crack eggs into the pan and cook to your preferred style (sunny side up, over easy, or scrambled).
  4. Slice rested steak against the grain.
  5. Serve steak alongside eggs, garnished with parsley or chives. Add hot sauce or steak sauce if desired.

  • Pair with hash browns, toast, or avocado for a complete breakfast.
