Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks (about 250 g each)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup seafood or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over high heat and sear steaks for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Remove and rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Lower heat and pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan.
- Add lobster meat, Parmesan cheese, paprika, and lemon juice. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens.
- Return shrimp to the sauce and heat through.
- Serve steaks topped with shrimp and generous spoonfuls of lobster cream sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
- Filet mignon works best for a more elegant presentation.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted asparagus.
- Sauce can be made slightly ahead and gently reheated.
