Description

Crispy baked chicken wings coated in a sticky sweet and spicy sauce that balances heat with a touch of sweetness, perfect for parties or game day.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry and toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Arrange wings on the rack and bake for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, butter, garlic, and chili flakes.
  5. Bring to a simmer and stir in cornstarch slurry. Cook until sauce thickens.
  6. Toss baked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.
