Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 cups whipped topping, thawed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional)
- Reserved cinnamon roll icing packets
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cinnamon roll package directions.
- Bake the cinnamon rolls until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool completely, then cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
- Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
- Arrange half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
- Spread half of the cream mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces and cream mixture.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top.
- Drizzle with the reserved cinnamon roll icing and caramel sauce if using.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Slice and serve chilled.
