- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning, dried parsley, and dried dill.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add the chopped pickles and pickle juice, then simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh dill and parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use refrigerated dill pickles for the freshest flavor.
- Chicken thighs can be substituted for an even juicier dish.
- Freshly grated Parmesan creates the smoothest sauce.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, rice, or roasted vegetables.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
