Ingredients
- 500g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ribeye or tenderloin for extra tenderness.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when searing to ensure a good crust.
- Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
