A rich and flavorful creamy Tuscan shrimp dish featuring juicy shrimp in a garlic Parmesan sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, better than any restaurant version.

Ingredients

  • 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer briefly.
  6. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  8. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  9. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
