Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1-2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Divide the chicken mixture into 8 equal portions.
- Spread each portion thinly onto one side of each tortilla.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and lightly grease with olive oil.
- Place tortillas chicken-side down onto the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- Flip the tortillas and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes to make the hot honey sauce.
- In another bowl, combine shredded lettuce, cabbage, mayonnaise, and lime juice to make the slaw.
- Top each taco with cheese, slaw, pickles, and a drizzle of hot honey.
