Description

Hot Honey Bacon Steak Pasta is a bold and indulgent pasta dish featuring tender steak bites, crispy beef bacon, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce balanced with a sweet-and-spicy hot honey glaze. Perfect for a hearty restaurant-style dinner at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 slices beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  3. Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add steak bites and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
  7. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring constantly.
  9. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth and creamy.
  10. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  11. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  12. Return steak to the skillet and add crumbled beef bacon.
  13. Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the pasta and gently toss.
  14. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  15. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ribeye steak can be substituted for extra richness.
  • Adjust the hot sauce and red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan creates the smoothest sauce.
  • Do not overcook the steak to keep it tender.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days.
