Description
Whipped Lemon Tiramisu Cups are a refreshing no-bake dessert featuring layers of lemon-infused mascarpone cream, lightly soaked ladyfingers, and fresh lemon zest. These individual dessert cups are light, creamy, and perfect for spring, summer, or elegant entertaining.
Ingredients
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest, plus extra for garnish
- 1 cup prepared lemonade or lemon syrup, cooled
- 18-20 ladyfinger cookies, broken into pieces
- Fresh blueberries or raspberries for garnish (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Beat until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mascarpone mixture until light and fluffy.
- Quickly dip the ladyfinger pieces into the cooled lemonade or lemon syrup, being careful not to oversoak.
- Place a layer of soaked ladyfingers into the bottom of individual dessert cups.
- Pipe or spoon a layer of the whipped lemon cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with the whipped lemon cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh lemon zest, berries, and mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Do not soak the ladyfingers for more than 1-2 seconds to prevent them from becoming soggy.
- Fresh lemon juice and zest provide the brightest citrus flavor.
- Chill overnight for the best texture and flavor.
- Serve in clear glasses to showcase the beautiful layers.
